Today, we mourn the loss of one of the tech industries greatest innovators, Steve Jobs. He was CEO and Founder of Apple, which I am sure you knew. It was with his leadership and motivation that Apple Computers went from being a boutique outfit to being the most hip computer company in the world.
Alex and I discussed the untimely passing at the age of 56 of Jobs last night during our daily briefing and we were both shocked and humbled at the reality of our hero's passing. I probably would have never gotten into technology had it not been my exposure to the Apple IIe in grade school or the lone Macintosh in the library at the same school. Alex had similar thoughts. We both were reminded that life is short and if we are to really make a difference, we have to get moving!
